MISD Receives $400,000 TEA Grant for Safety and Security Enhancements
McKinney ISD is the recipient of a TEA grant totaling just under $400,000 to be used for safety and security enhancements throughout the district.
Important Change for MISD Grab & Go Meal Locations Begins April 27
Beginning Monday, April 27, 2020 the McKinney ISD Grab & Go meal program will no longer use McNeil Elementary or Malvern Elementary as pick-up locations due to upcoming renovations at those schools. Valley Creek will begin serving as a pick-up location on Monday, April 27.

McKinney ISD will add Saturday breakfast and lunch to its Grab & Go pick up beginning April 24. The addition was approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture and will continue through the remainder of the school closure.

MISD Bad Weather Make-up Days April 10 and April 27 to be Used as Student and Staff Holidays
Due to a determination by the Texas Education Agency that school districts do not have to use bad weather days as make-up days for the 2019-2020 school year, April 10, 2020, and April 27, 2020 will be used as student and staff holidays.
