Departmental Responsibilities
The McKinney ISD Communications Department exists to support the efforts of campuses and the district in building relationships and communicating timely information to staff, students, parents, and the community. Our primary goal is to serve campuses and to engage the community in an ongoing effort to support student success.
McKinney ISD’s Communications Department serves the district in the following areas: Strategic Initiatives, District Partnerships (Partners in Education Program), Childcare Programs (After-School Care/Preschool Programs), Special Events, District Information, Government Partnerships, District and Campus Websites, Multimedia and Video Production, Marketing and Publications, and Social Media.
