The Academic PlanningĀ Guides (APG) found on this page assist McKinney ISD secondary students in making course selections and planning their academic futures. We encourage students and parents to read theseĀ guides carefully. Counselors are available to work with students, parents, and teachers to select appropriate courses that are challenging and meet graduation requirements. Catalogs, handbooks, and Internet sources are available to students seeking post high school educational opportunities. These opportunities include two-year and four-year colleges and universities, vocational schools and the armed forces. Financial aid resources and workshops are also available.

For more information about these additional resources, please contact your school’s counseling center.

We also encourage families to additionally reference the MISD Graduation Requirements page found in this section of the website.
