Home Access Center FAQs

Home Access Center(HAC) Overview Video

  • What is HAC?

The district’s Home Access Center (HAC) is where parents and students can access course information and where student grades, report cards and attendance information is posted.

  • How do I log into HAC?

HAC is available online through single sign-on (SSO).

  • How do I recover my HAC password?

The single sign-on password recovery link is available on the single sign-on page. From this page select the “Need help?” link, then select the “Forgot My Password” button and follow the instructions to recover your password.

  • How do I set up alerts in HAC?

Use the My Alerts option in the Home Access Center banner to access and change settings for the types of email alerts you would like to receive for your student. The My Alerts page includes alert options for attendance, course average, classwork, interim progress and report card. If you are a guardian who can access multiple students in HAC, a separate set of options is displayed for each student.

  • How do I view my class rank in HAC?

Class rank information is available via the Transcript page. To display the Transcript page, click Grades on the HAC menu, then click the Transcript tab. On this page, parents and students can see their GPA/Rank. These scores are updated twice a year, after 1st semester and then again after the end of the school year.

  • How do I check to make sure my student’s absences have been coded correctly?

Student attendance information can be accessed using the Home Access Center Attendance page. This page displays a month-view of the student’s attendance that can be toggled to access all months within the current school year. A color legend identifies the type of attendance displayed. Place the mouse pointer over a day to view more detailed information on absences and tardies.

  • When are report cards released, and how do I view them?

Report card information is available via the HAC Report Card page. The Report Card page displays your student’s most recent report card, if available, and includes course information, attendance and grades. To display the Report Card page, click Grades on the HAC menu, then click the Report Card tab.

  • How is HAC different from Canvas?

HAC allows parents and students to view student registration, grades and report cards, attendance, bus routing, and course scheduling information as it is entered in the school district’s database.

Canvas is an online educational environment that allows teachers to provide instructional support, class calendars, assignments and resources for students. Grades in Canvas are not official. Please check HAC for official course results. For more information about Canvas please visit the Canvas FAQs page.

  • Who do I ask for help with HAC?

For assistance with HAC please contact your campus registrar.
