The Stock Market Game: MISD Students Sweep Podium at Dallas Regional

McKinney, TX — Three McKinney ISD Gifted and Talented 4th and 5th-grade teams—competing among 200 other groups—swept the podium in the Dallas Regional competition of The Stock Market Game™. Those three MISD teams also finished 7th, 9th, and 17th in the state, respectively, among 1,350 other teams, across all competition grade levels.

The Stock Market Game is an online simulation of global capital markets that engages 4th–12th grade students in the world of economics, investing and personal finance. The objective is straightforward: teams start with $100,000 to invest over the first semester, and the most profitable team wins.

Here are the MISD teams that placed in the top 10 at the Dallas Regional and their competition results:
