Black History Month Program 2024: McKinney Boyd High School (McKinney ISD Media/February 29, 2024)

McKinney, Texas — On February 28, McKinney Boyd High School held their annual Black History Month Program. The program consisted of two McKinney ISD alumni—Soprano and Opera Singer, Sydnee Turrentine-Johnson, a McKinney Boyd graduate and daughter of Boyd Assistant Principal, Pamela Johnson, along with guest speaker Mark T, a McKinney High School graduate. The program’s Orator was business and marketing professional, Sabrina Watkins. The program closed out with a fun and interactive performance by Bandan Koro, an African Drum and Dance ensemble.
