MISD Football is Back! How to Get Varsity Football Tickets and What to Expect on Game Day

McKinney, TX — The McKinney ISD Athletics Department has announced procedures for purchasing tickets to 2020–2021 MISD high school varsity football games at McKinney ISD Stadium as well as policies that attendees will need to know.

Ticket sales are online only. There will be no cash sales at the gate. If there are tickets still available at the gate, a QR Code will be available to purchase tickets online.
No Season Tickets for this Season – Current season ticket holders’ seats will be honored next season if everything is back to normal.
MISD stadium will sell a total of 1,750 tickets for Home and 1,500 for Visitors, with all tickets being an assigned seat.
- Parents of football, band, drill team, cheer, spirit groups, broadcast journalism, JROTC and student athletic trainer’s ticket sales begin:
Sunday at 1:00 p.m., the week of the game. Using your student’s ID number, you may purchase up to four tickets. - Student & Employee ticket sales begin:
Monday at 12:00 a.m., the week of the game. Using a code sent each week, you may purchase up to two tickets. - General Public ticket sales begin:
Tuesday at 12:00 a.m., the week of the game. You may purchase up to four tickets.
No passes will be accepted, including MISD employee badges, gold pass or any other form of free entry. All entry must be ticketed and accounted for.

Per UIL/TEA requirements, schools not following these guidelines are subject to sanctions, including suspension of contests or discontinuation of public access to games, by local UIL District Executive Committee and/or UIL State Executive Committee:
- Spectators must wear face coverings at all times.
- Spectators must answer NO to the COVID screening questions before entry.
The MISD Clear Bag Policy will be in effect at all MISD athletic venues. Clear Bag Policy
No tailgating for the 2020-2021 season.
Away game ticket information will be sent weekly by your respective coach with the opponent’s ticketing information.
Note for band and drill team parents: Information is provided below to help in seat selection:
- Band is in Sections 115 – 118 on the visitor side and will perform facing the home side. Band parents will sit on the home side but will have the ability to cross over to the visitor side during the game if needed. Students will only be allowed to cross over with an adult.
- Drill team is in Section 102 – 103 on the home side.
