McKinney, Texas – The Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO) will host a virtual college night for McKinney Boyd High School, McKinney High School and McKinney North High School students on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 6–8 p.m.

Presented by the McKinney Education Foundation, the event offers students the opportunity to glean information from a vast array of collegiate institutions in one virtual setting.

“MISD is proud to offer our students this alternative way to experience College Night,” said MISD Senior Director of Guidance and Counseling Jennifer Akins. “Over 300 colleges and universities will have a virtual presence!”

Registration is required, and students can access the registration page by clicking here.

To navigate the virtual College Night, attendees will simply log in and click on “Live Fairs.” There, they will find an extensive list of colleges and universities to explore through video features and live chat opportunities with recruiters as well as the chance to request additional information from schools they’re interested in. In addition, attendees will be able to search institutions by a variety of criteria such as major field of study, size, location, etc.

The MISD virtual College Night is designed to help students avoid the crowds of a traditional College Night while putting a wealth of information right at their fingertips.

Note: If students are not able to attend MISD’s designated night, they may register for one of the other fairs listed on the site.
