GT & Advanced Academics Secondary Advice Night
The McKinney Gifted and Talented Alliance and MISD Advanced Academics Department invite all parents and guardians to the Secondary Advice Night! This night is dedicated to supporting Advanced, GT and High Potential students in a variety of areas including: Raising Gifted Kids During Challenging Times (presented by Mrs. Karen J Green, Pedagogy for Success, LLC); Navigating the College Admissions Process; Overview of Secondary Advanced Academics in MISD; Advice on Effective Parent/Teacher Conferences; Time Blindness and Executive Function Challenges; And, more! This event is free for all MISD parents and secondary students. Please note: No childcare will be provided for this event.
