C. T. Eddins Elementary

It is an honor and privilege to work with an exemplary group of students and staff! C.T. Eddins has successfully achieved many honors and recognitions since the opening of the building, and as the visionary leader of this campus, it is my goal to provide clear direction on what is best for students in order to continue down this path of success! Throughout my own personal journey, I value the opportunities that have been given to me and appreciate the expertise and knowledge shared by so many exemplary educators. I believe and will take from those experiences in order to help continue the culture of excellence and high standards.

My first teaching experience was in a town outside of Lubbock, Slaton Texas, where I taught 2 years in 1st grade. I then moved to Lubbock ISD to teach 3 years of 3rd grade and from there, moved to El Paso where I taught 1 year of 3rd grade and then served as H.O.S.T. (Helping One Student to Succeed) Coordinator for a year. I then returned to Richardson where I taught 4th grade and then moved to Plano ISD to teach 5th and 2nd grade while working on my masters in administration. My first position in administration was in McKinney ISD and over the past 9 years, I have worked as an assistant principal at Glen Oaks, Eddins and Burks Elementary. In all, I have 23 years of experience in education and I am thrilled to be returning to Eddins to serve as principal.

My number one mission is to create an elementary campus’ environment that encourages success, provides stability, and brings back the joy of learning. I believe that together we can motivate and cultivate a community of life-long learners.
