Each January we take an opportunity to give recognition and appreciation for the dedication and commitment from the seven members of our community who serve as the board of trustees for McKinney ISD.
Each month, a member of the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees provides a summary of the business covered in that month's meeting. Here, board member Larry Jagours covers the highlights of the meeting that took place on Monday, January 22, 2023.
The McKinney ISD Strategic Plan was accepted by the Board on January 22, 2024. Mr. Pratt will determine the year to begin each action plan, designate a point person overseeing implementation, and establish an evaluation system.
The Strategic Plan becomes a part of the District Plan, Campus Plans, and Community-Based Accountability. Under the leadership of the Board of Trustees and Mr. Pratt, McKinney ISD’s Strategic Plan will serve as the roadmap for transforming the district and turning the vision into reality for McKinney students, staff, and community.
At the January Board of Trustees meeting Monday night, McKinney ISD announced that it has hired Nate Leonard as the new head football coach of McKinney High School.
