Jaquelin Ruano-Hernandez is a First in Family graduate from the McKinney High School class of 2026. After completing the Education and Training Program with Ms. Kaylee Land (Vocational Careers/MHS) and receiving a TEA Educational Aide certification last year, Jaquelin followed her heart. There is no other place that she can imagine herself being than in a classroom in McKinney ISD! Next step for her: interviewing and being accepted into the Para to Teacher Pathway program.

While it was IT Professional's Day last week, we think our district technician, Mr. Cushenberry is THE BEST and deserves a whole month! Malvern recognized him today as our September Flight Leader!
He is nothing short of a superhero. Whether he is jumping into action to deliver iPads directly into students' hands or stepping in to resolve pressing tech needs for teachers, his responsiveness and efficiency are second to none. Balancing the demands of two separate schools is no easy task, yet Sean handles every challenge with such calm, warmth, and dedication that you would swear our campus was his one and only priority. He not only completes every job with remarkable care and skill, but he also takes the extra time to follow up and ensure everyone feels fully supported. We are incredibly fortunate to have Sean on our team!
