McKinney ISD offices will be closed July 2 – 6 in observance of the 4th of July holiday. District offices will reopen Monday, July 9.
At their June 26 meeting MISD’s Board of Trustees were briefed on two important subjects: the district’s budget and safety and security. Both presentations were recorded and are posted online on the Board Meeting Video page of the public website. The video is linked below. In all, more than 1,700 McKinney ISD graduates received their diplomas on Friday, June 8.

McKinney ISD is hosting a registration event for students new to the district on Tuesday, July 10. During this event, parents will be able to complete the registration process for the 2018-19 school year.
This event will be held in the MISD Administration Office Board Room at #1 Duvall Street, McKinney, TX 75069 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Parents can start the registration process online prior to July 10. Computers will be available at the registration site on the 10th for those who did not do so beforehand.
In order to complete your registration with MISD you will need to bring the following documents with you: birth certificate, shot record, proof of residency (current electric, water, or gas bill or a copy of your contract or lease). A Social Security card is also an option.

It’s a tradition that has been in place for years: the MISD Senior Breakfast. Each spring, elementary schools across McKinney ISD invite graduating seniors back to the campus where they started their academic careers for one last visit.
