We are looking for parent and caregiver volunteers to lend a helping hand during our lunch periods! Volunteering for lunch duty is a wonderful way to support our staff, engage with our school community, and see our students during their day.

We have lots of fun dress-up and spirit days planned for the 2026–27 school year, and we’re sharing the calendar early to give families plenty of time to plan ahead!

From College Week and Red Ribbon Week to pajamas, kindness, Read Across America, Mix-Up Style Day, and beach shirts, there will be lots of opportunities for our Longhorns to show their school spirit throughout the year. 🎉

⭐ Students wearing a Wilmeth spirit shirt will be admitted FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a purchased ticket.
⭐ Gates open at 6:00 PM.
⭐ Wilmeth families should meet in Section 109 by 6:30 PM.

The Wait is Almost Over! Wilmeth is Ready for You! 🎒✨

Our favorite Longhorn is in the driver’s seat and ready to welcome our amazing students back to school tomorrow, Aug 13th!

We can’t wait to see your smiles, hear about your summer, and kick off a brand-new year of learning and growing together.

A Quick Reminder for Tomorrow Morning:

Building Opens: 7:40 AM **Note: Every grown up will enter through the front door with a valid drivers license.

Student Breakfast: 7:40 AM - 8:05 AM

Tardy Bell Rings: 8:10 AM (Students should be in seats!)

Boohoo Woohoo Breakfast for Adults will be in the Library, immediately after you walk student(s) to their classroom. Come mingle with other parents and have a treat.

Dismissal: 3:20 PM
