We had the BEST time at our Spring Creek Spirit Night! Our teachers were decked out in their finest aprons serving the yummiest rolls in all of McKinney! THANK YOU to the amazing staff at Spring Creek for hosting us and for making a donation to Wilmeth from the evening! We hope to come back and do it again even bigger next year!

Acts may be no longer than 1:30 minutes in length.
Auditions are February 12th beginning at 3:25 pm.
All music must be provided by MONDAY, February 23rd in an MP3, MP4, or MP4a version by emailing a copy to LuckysTalent@gmail.com . Please label your music with your students name/name of the group.
Music must be cut so that it does not exceed 1:30 minutes.

Students may participate in only one act.
AUDITIONS WILL BE IN THE SCHOOL GYM: Please use side entrance to attend as the front doors will be locked. Once your child is done auditioning, please exit the gym.

Entry Guidelines:
• Use one 8.5 x 11 sheet of white, unlined paper
• Paper must be vertical (portrait orientation)
• Use the entire page — the more color, the better!
• You may use paint, crayons, or markers
All artwork must include the text:
“Wilmeth 2025–2026”
and
“It’s Groovy to Be a Longhorn”
Important:
On the back of the paper, please write the student’s name, grade, and teacher in pencil only so it does not show through the artwork.

ALL WEEK - Kindness Blackout Bingo. Each student and staff member will receive a bingo card on Tuesday. They have all week to get a blackout bingo! Bingo cards can be turned in to the homeroom teacher for a special surprise. (this is a home and school activity – students can bring the bingo to and from school each day if they choose)
Tuesday – Kindness Clips. Kindness Crew will start a Kindness Clip Campaign. These are clothes pins with kind, inspirational sayings that staff and students can clip on others backpacks or jackets, etc. Once a student receives a clothes pin it is their job to pass it on to a new friend.
Wednesday – Kindness Compliments – this is an activity that all students will do in their classrooms. Look for their compliment sheet to come home on Wednesday to see all the positive comments about your child.
Thursday and Friday 7:40 am – 8:00 am–Kindness Cart. The Kindness Cart will have free kindness bookmarks and other items for students. There will also be a drawing station for students to draw a picture or write a kind note to others.
