Schools are required to conduct monthly fire drills.🔥🏫 These drills help ensure that students and staff know exactly what to do in case of an emergency.

Practicing safe and orderly evacuations builds confidence, reduces panic, and keeps everyone protected. Your child’s safety is our top priority! ❤️👩‍🚒👨‍🏫

Our Red Hawks were excited to have Mr. Money here this morning to kick off our fall fundraiser! He challenged our 4th and 5th graders to get more registrations tonight than our kinder and 1st graders! Will they do it? All they need to do is register.

Dear Red Hawk Families -

Please be aware that today, August 19, 2025, Malvern Elementary students and staff participated in a campus emergency drill. This was a Fire Drill according to our Standard Response Protocol. Students and staff have discussed our campus emergency procedures and we will continue to review these throughout the school year.

Student safety is always our top priority and practicing these drills further prepares our students and staff for emergency situations.

For additional information regarding our emergency procedures, please visit our website. As always, we appreciate your support to keep our students safe and focused on learning.

Sincerely,

Ms. Nelson & Mrs. Herrera

✨ What an Amazing First Day at Malvern! ✨

Our Red Hawk scholars soared into the new school year today! 🦅 From the moment the doors opened, we were surrounded by the smiles and encouragement of so many families who came to cheer on their scholars. ❤️

Today was all about building strong foundations — learning routines, practicing expectations, and setting the tone for a year of growth and success. 📚✨

We were also honored to welcome Superintendent Shawn Pratt and Deputy Superintendent Melanie Raleeh to campus this morning. Thank you for stopping by to celebrate the start of our 2025–2026 school year with us!

Here’s to a year filled with learning, laughter, and Red Hawk pride! 🎉

We are so proud of how well our Red Hawk scholars did today! They worked hard as we practiced procedures and expectations, and we saw so much great learning happening.

As is common at the start of the school year, afternoon dismissal can take a little extra time while everyone settles into their routines. It is very important that your child’s teacher knows exactly how your child will be going home each day. We ask that you choose one consistent mode of dismissal whenever possible.

We understand that changes may occasionally be necessary. If your child will be going home a different way, please scan the QR code on the back of your Malvern Elementary Red Dismissal Number and complete the form before 2:45 p.m. on the day of the change.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and efficient for all of our Red Hawks! We look forward to more learning tomorrow!

What an AMAZING Meet the Teacher Night!

It was so exciting to see so many Red Hawk families come out to connect, explore classrooms, and gear up for the school year ahead. We loved seeing all the smiles! Topping it off with Popsicles in the Park made it even sweeter!

The countdown is officially on ... school starts on Tuesday, and we can't wait to welcome our Red Hawks back! Let's make this the best year yet! #EveryStudentEveryDay #RedHawksRising #BackToSchool

At the start of the school year, establishing strong routines and expectations is essential for creating a focused and successful learning environment. To support this important process, we do not allow visitors or volunteers on campus until August 25, 2025. This allows our students and staff the time and space needed to build a solid foundation for the year ahead. Thank you for your understanding and support!

We can't wait to have Visitors and Volunteers back on campus starting Monday, August 25, 202! All volunteers must complete a background check annually. You still have time! Do it today!
