Calling all Lego Masters! Students are challenged this month to create a Spooky Scene using Legos and we have our first two submissions. Students can create in the Learning Commons with our Legos or create using Legos from home but all submissions must be in by October 24th.

The Malvern October Reading Challenge has started! This is a challenge for all students (teachers have their own challenge) and we encourage everyone to take part. Prizes will be awarded throughout October for completing various parts of this challenge. Today we highlighted the Bee Amazing Books on the morning announcements and offered a special prize for reading these books. The Bee Amazing Books are some of the best books that you just HAVE to read as selected by the MISD Librarians. Pick one up this month and then mark is complete for the challenge!

Friday, October 3, 2025 • McKinney HS vs. Princeton • Homecoming

Malvern families are invited to cheer on the Lions at McKinney High School’s Homecoming game! Gates open at 6:00 PM, and all Malvern students should be in Section 109 by 6:30 PM to head down to the field for our Elementary Night photo. Students will also be featured live on the video board before kickoff at 7:00 PM.

🎟 Admission: Elementary students wearing a school spirit shirt get in FREE (must be accompanied by a paid adult). Parents are not permitted on the field, but staff will guide and supervise students. After the photo and live shot, students will rejoin their families in the stands.

It is time for Malvern's Annual Book Pumpkin Patch! We are growing a storybook pumpkin patch, and we need your help! Decorate a pumpkin to look like one of your favorite book characters, and bring it to school to plant in our Pumpkin Patch! Awards are given to the best pumpkin in each grade, as well as in additional categories.
No Carved or Cut Pumpkins!
