I have over four years of experience working in special education and supporting students with diverse learning needs. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, hiking, coloring, and two-step dancing. I also love spending time with my dogs, who are a big part of my life. I am looking forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff at McClure and becoming part of this wonderful school community.

Hello McClure Elementary! My name is Michelle Gonzalez, and I am excited to join the McClure family as a Resource Teacher. This coming school year marks my 15th year in education! I am a proud first-generation college graduate who was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. I earned my bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and later completed a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting students and helping them reach their full potential. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active at the gym, reading, and working on various arts and crafts projects. I have recently taken up golfing and am enjoying learning the game! I am a proud fur mom to three dogs who keep us busy and entertained. I look forward to getting to know everyone and becoming part of the McClure community.
