It's Music in our schools month! Mrs Arias has been celebrating with by creating collaborative lessons with art, and teaching staff and students the long term benefits of music education. Thank you Mrs Arias! We ❤️ you!

4th grade is having fun on their field trip!
The BBLC hosted 2nd graders on Wednesday for a virtual author visit with Joanna Ho, author of Eyes that Kiss in the Corners. We loved hearing about her inspiration for the book and the reminders to love and celebrate our unique selves. After the program, students filled out a graphic organizer with personal character traits including ways they've changed this year, their best character trait, and favorite features. Thank you PTO for your continued support of BookBreak and bringing opportunities to see so many authors throughout the year.

Ending the week with a special dental presentation. Students were taught about the parts of their teeth, why it's important to take care of them, and a special rhyme to help them remember how to brush. Ask them about the rule of 2s! Can't wait to see those sparking smiles next week!
Ms. Mosley's 2nd grade class completed the Black History Month tic-tac-toe challenge through the Learning Commons! Each student received a 3-d printed brag tag today! Congratulations!!
