Matter Museum was on display in 5th grade today. Students were challenged to create or find an object, identify physical properties, and group it with other objects in their group find common properties. During the gallery showing, students were invited to leave comment cards sharing positive feedback.
4th grade had a great time checking out their first books. They remembered so many rules there was extra time to check out the Sticktogether board and the Read & Ride bikes.

We had our very first Fire Drill of the school year today. Our Bears did great and followed all of our campus expectations. We are required to have a Fire Drill at the beginning of each month. Please see the newsletter for our upcoming Drills.

Back to school means back to work for the staff at Bennett. We are partnering with the staff at Wolford to learn and grow this year. Monday meant collaboration, planning, and learning about our work within a professional learning community.
Ms. Arias, our Bennett Music Teacher, has been at an intensive music workshop the last 2.5 weeks at SMU in Dallas. She ended her learning with a concert today!
