Named after Roy Lee Walker, the school hosted a special dinner welcoming past campus employees, followed by a memorable assembly attended by all students.
The celebration featured inspiring words from current Principal Michelle Baumann, founding Principal Ms. Beasley, and Mr. Walker’s daughter, Ms. Linda Rinn, reflecting on the school’s legacy and impact over the years. It was a night to remember for the Walker Stars, honoring the past while looking ahead to a bright future!

From Walker Elem.: Reminder - Stay & Play this afternoon. PTA is providing bubbles for everyone. Join us at Hilltop Park following dismissal. Carpool drivers pick up through the line and then park to join the fun!

Walker Families,
Come see the wonderful blend of traditions and customs that make up our unique school family. We look forward to seeing you as an attendee or as a presenter, hosting a table!
If you would like to host a table, the table setup begins at 4:00. We invite students' families to bring items and/or special food from their family’s culture or tradition to share with others. This is not meant to be a meal, but rather a sample taste. Some examples may be baklava, enchiladas, nahari, the cookies you make and eat on family pajama night, or any recipe that is meaningful to you. Tables will be set up for you, and you will be able to decorate an area of your table with information posters or other items that tell the story of your family or culture. Your family may want to dress in clothing that represents your culture or traditions.
This event is designed for Walker families and staff to share their culture, traditions, and food with one another. We look forward to seeing you as an attendee or as a presenter while hosting a table.
