Assistant Principal, Melanie Adlof, is thrilled to return to Walker Elementary, where her journey in education first began. A proud McKinney ISD graduate, Mrs. Adlof attended McKinney schools from kindergarten through 12th grade and participated in the district's Ready, Set, Teach! program, completing her student teaching experience right here at Walker.
Mrs. Adlof began her teaching career at Walker, where she taught Kindergarten and 4th grade before serving as a school counselor in Prosper ISD for three years. She then completed one year as an Administrative Intern and most recently served two years as an Assistant Principal in Prosper ISD. She is honored to return to the Walker community and is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while helping every child thrive.
Mrs. Adlof and her husband have two children, Landry, who is in 2nd grade, and Graysen, who is in Pre-K. Their family also includes two beloved Golden Retrievers, Bella and Oakley, who keep life fun and full of adventure.
