We are inviting all Slaughter Elementary students to enter their original artwork into our Yearbook Cover Contest! Design a cover that shows off your school pride.
🎨 Art must be on vertical 8.5 × 11 plain white paper.
🎨 Include the school name and the year.
🎨 Artwork must be completed by a Slaughter Elementary student.
🎨 Use up as much white space as possible using colored pencil, crayon, marker, pens, etc.
🎨 Student's full name, grade level, and homeroom teacher should be written ON THE BACK in pencil.
🎨 Protect your work by keeping it in a folder.
SUBMISSIONS DUE TO MRS. KENEALEY NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH. Submissions will be voted on by Slaughter staff members and a winner will be announced on Monday, April 20th. For more information, reach out to Mrs. Kenealey at kkenealey@mckinneyisd.net.

🍕💙 A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Slaughter PTO for providing Papa Murphy’s pizza, salad kits, and cookies for a first-day “take home” meal! Truly nothing better than ending the first day of school without having to worry about what’s for dinner.
