Melanie Raleeh brings over three decades of experience in public education, including 29 years of dedicated service to McKinney ISD. Throughout her tenure, she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including assistant principal, principal, and central office administrator.
She currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of School Leadership, where she oversees principal development, campus and student support, as well as district accountability, special populations, Career and Technical Education (CTE), advanced academics, and counseling services. Known for her relational leadership and strategic vision, Mrs. Raleeh fosters collaborative, high-performing school cultures. Her work is grounded in a deep belief in the potential of every student and a relentless focus on supporting educators.
Under her leadership, multiple campuses have demonstrated significant gains in student achievement and campus climate. Mrs. Raleeh plays a key role in district wide strategic planning, leading initiatives focused on organizational alignment and continuous improvement. She is deeply committed to building strong partnerships with families, staff, and the McKinney community to ensure student success across all campuses.
Mrs. Raleeh holds certifications as a superintendent, principal, educational diagnostician, and classroom teacher. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and her Master of Education from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
