With more than two decades in education, Molly Hovan currently serves as the Executive Director of Elementary Leadership for McKinney ISD. In this role, Molly supports district strategic initiatives that empower campus leaders to deliver strong, growth-focused learning environments across elementary schools.
Prior to that, Molly spent a year as the Senior Director of Teaching & Learning, where she oversaw curriculum development, instructional coaching, and partnered with campus leadership to identify campus goals and actions to increase student achievement.
Molly’s campus leadership began at Glen Oaks Elementary, where she served as principal for nine and a half years. Under her leadership, the school saw significant gains in student achievement and teacher effectiveness through collaborative professional learning and a focus on mindset and continuous improvement.
Before that, Molly spent five and a half years as Assistant Principal at McNeil Elementary—coordinating instructional programs, mentoring teachers, and spearheading campus-wide initiatives aimed at student success.
