No Carved or Cut Pumpkins!

You can help make this possible! We’ve put together a wishlist of items that will bring comfort, peace, and positivity to this space—things like cozy seating, calming décor, essential oils, and small touches of relaxation.
Every item donated helps us show our teachers just how much they are appreciated. 💙

Thank you for helping us create a sanctuary for the amazing educators who pour so much into our children every single day!

Our 3rd graders got hands-on safety training with the McKinney Fire Department: Safety Squad Program! 🚒 Now in its second year, Safety Squad builds on the fun lessons from the McTown Klownz (K–2) and takes them a step further by turning important safety tips into real-life practice. Students learned how to escape a burning structure by staying low, what to do when calling 9-1-1, and how to react if a firefighter in full gear comes to help them. #EveryStudentEveryDay #RedHawksRising #SafetyFirst #McKinneyFD #SafetySquad

In addition to morning greetings, we also help out at various school events throughout the year. Our goal is to grow Hawk Squad into a strong and lasting tradition—and we’d love for you to be a part of it!
Active members will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive, custom Hawk Squad t-shirt to wear and keep.
We welcome everyone—dads, moms, grandparents, and more! If you're ready to have fun and make a difference, sign up and join the squad. We can’t wait to meet you!

A Medical Hold is called when someone needs medical help in the building. During a Hold, learning continues in classrooms, but hallways stay clear so emergency staff can respond quickly and safely.
Just like fire, weather, or lockdown drills, this practice helps everyone know what to do so our school stays safe and prepared. Thank you for your support! ❤️

Friday is the grand finale of College Week at Malvern! 🎓 Our theme is “The Future is Bright!” Let’s finish strong—encourage your child to wear sunglasses and neon colors as we celebrate their bright future ahead. Due to college week, we will dress for Hispanic Heritage Month next Friday, Sept. 26. #EveryStudentEveryDay #RedHawkRising #CollegeWeek #TheFutureIsBright

This is a friendly reminder that all fundraising forms and money should be turned in tomorrow. Please be sure your child brings everything to school so we can wrap up our fundraiser smoothly.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly makes a difference for our students and school community!
Ms. Nelson and Mrs. Herrera
