Our town’s annual Independence Day parade is returning with even more sparkle and community pride—and we’re thrilled to announce that the Grand Marshal will be none other than Malvern’s very own School Board of Trustee, Place 1, Larry Jagours!
A lifelong McKinney resident and respected community leader, Rev. Larry Jagours has dedicated decades to serving our schools and families. This year, he has the honor of leading the parade down our main streets—so make sure you arrive early to catch him waving from the official float!
🗓️ Date: July 4, 2025
🕙 Time: Parade kicks off at 10 AM; Yankee Doodle Block Party 11am-2pm
📍 Route: Downtown McKinney down Kentucky Street and Tennessee Street, between Lamar Street and Standifer Street
🎇 Fireworks & Concert at Towne Lake Park 6pm-10pm
Bring your red, white & blue attire, friends, family—and your cantinas of good cheer! The day will end with a spectacular fireworks show at Towne Lake Park.
