WE ARE THE BRONCOS
McKinney Boyd High School opened in 2006. The original Boyd High School, built in 1914, was named in honor of Mary Elizabeth Crane Boyd, wife of Captain W.L. Boyd. Boyd High School served as the community’s high school for 45 years until 1959.
Through these hallowed halls,
let our voices ring,
Songs of courage,
songs of pride.
Ever fearless champions we must be,
Bronco spirit never dies.
As we leave this place we will not forget,
we will always honor you.
We will fight for victory evermore,
for the Broncos red and blue!
