Celebrating 100 Years of Fanny Finch Elementary

“Raise your hand if you were teaching back when chalkboards were considered high tech?” That seems like a crazy question unless you are addressing the audience of a 100-year celebration, which was the case this past January for Finch Elementary. Current teachers and students along with former students and staff gathered to celebrate the school’s one hundredth anniversary of being named after the legendary educator, Fanny Finch.

TRUNK OR TREAT CANDY DRIVE
Our annual Trunk or Treat is right around the corner (Tues, Oct 21), and we need your help to make it sweet!

We’re asking families to donate bags of candy to help fill our trunks for this fun event. Donations can be dropped off in the front office any time between now and the big night!

Thank you for helping us make this a spook-tacular event for our students!

This week, our students and teachers showed their spirit with College Week dress-up days — Uno card game style! From colorful outfits to big smiles, everyone joined in the fun while exploring future goals and possibilities.

We love seeing our Falcons excited about what their future may hold!

Our Book Fair is being delivered! Are you ready! Previews will begin this Friday!

This week is SOAR Spirit Week (August 18-22). Make sure to show your school spirit and wear blue and gold all week! Go Falcons!
