How do middle school band students like to spend their first week of summer break? More band, of course! These band campers amazed, as did their directors who provided such an incredible experience.

Last, but not least, our final Scholar Artist of the Week for the 24/25 school year is Julian Flores from the MBHS AP Sculpture Program. Congratulations, Julian! We wish you all the best as you graduate MBHS and attend UNT. #misdfinearts #mckinneyisdfinearts #uplift2inspire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME1bV7AOISc

SJMS Bands have been on an upward trajectory all year! They capped their performance season with an outstanding concert, and they even featured a 30+ flute choir.

The annual MNHS Choir Extravaganza is always a fan favorite! The students, and especially seniors, know that they always have a "Home" in choir. 🧡💙

DMS Choir closed out their year in style! So much fun!

Singing the praises of Makayla Schaffran from MHS Choir, our Scholar Artist of the Week! Enjoy the last week of your senior year. Congratulations, Makayla. #mckinneyisdfinearts #misdfinearts #uplift2inspire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z081FcJSEy0

Cockrill Choir was rockin' the pop from the 2Ks tonight. So was Mrs. Seamans!

The legacy continues! Congratulations to all our Music Educators who continue to make McKinney ISD a Best Community for Music Education designated by The NAMM Foundation. This marks year 10 of this noteworthy award!

The Lion Swing was the swingin-est place in town on Saturday night. Great jazz, a silent auction, tasty food, and amazing company made for a great night.

Hadestown at MHS was simply jaw dropping! The depth and attention to detail of every aspect of the production were phenomenal. The best part: the students guided the artistic choices throughout. This was not a typical high school production. Bravo!

Third grade Fine Arts Night at Glen Oaks was incredible! The STEAM theme of the choir program was arts integration at its finest, and the art show and sale amazed everyone. Kudos to the students, Mrs. Holt, and Mr. Flores!

MBHS Fusion and MHS Marquette Officers traveled to Austin for Fine Arts Day at the Capitol hosted by the Texas Arts Education Campaign. Our students performed in the Capitol Rotunda, met with our State Senator and State Representative's office, and advocated for Fine Arts in public schools. All day long they impressed with their polished poise and professionalism and made a lasting impression on everyone they met. We are so proud! They represented MISD Fine Arts spectacularly.

The 4th Grade Combo Choir Concert with Press, Webb, Frazier, and Vega was a huge success! Great work, 4th Grade!
