3rd grade celebrated National STEAM day with LEGO coding.
Book Fair Previews fill us with such joy! Seeing the library transformed, finding favorite characters, and new books to bring home is so exciting. Kinder and 1st created a wish list in SeeSaw and 3rd-5th created a paper version. Check those accounts and bags- they have lots to share!
Previews finish tomorrow: sales begin Friday 2:30pm-4:00pm. We are open Monday-Friday next week 7:40am-3:40pm.
2nd grade's month of STEAM continued this week with Dash robots and Blockly coding. Students learned how to care for Dash and the basics of block coding. Next week, they'll be challenged to code their Dash through a giant map of NYC replicating the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

Thank you for supporting our Big Kahuna Fundraiser! Our students who sold 15 items (20 family) had a bus ride with Ms. Halpin & Dr. Tillson and enjoyed a snow cone! We all had a BLAST! We will post the items we purchase for our school in the coming weeks!! #proudtobeaBEAR 🐾 🐻 💙

2nd grade visiting this week to test out the chompsaw. They are getting ready for a special project in November featuring a read aloud, Officer Petti, coding with Dash, and creating with Chompsaw. It's going to be a STEAM filled month for this grade level!
