McKinney ISD is excited to welcome students back to campus on Thursday, September 3, and we are confident that the district's adherence to the state mask mandate won't diminish the experience for students or staff.
In an effort to keep our parents, staff and community informed, the McKinney ISD COVID-19 Dashboard will be updated weekly to reflect lab-confirmed positive cases for COVID-19. The data will be updated each Friday by 4:00 P.M.
On Thursday, September 3, McKinney ISD students who have opted for in-person learning will return to MISD classrooms for the first time since Spring Break, and the district couldn’t be more excited to welcome students back to campus.
McKinney ISD students who have opted to learn in person will return to campus on Thursday, September 3. Many of them will ride the bus. Here are the steps that the district is taking to guard the health of students and drivers.
Elementary: 8:00 am – 3:07 pm
Middle School: 8:45 am – 3:52 pm
High School: 7:30 am – 2:37 pm
Campuses should restrict visits in schools to only those essential to school operations. When permitted on campus, visitors will be held to the same health and safety requirements as students and staff. Click the link below for additional information on the Instructional Plan page.

This summer, the district’s Technology team deployed more than 13,000 MacBooks to MISD students. Listed at the link below are resources parents and students can use should they need help with district supported technology.
Beginning Thursday, September 3, the MISD Grab and Go Meals program will continue only at Finch Elementary and is open to all MISD students who are continuing virtual learning.
