Tech: Partnering with Parents

McKinney ISD recognizes that being a good digital citizen is just part of being a good citizen! We understand that we’re all in this together.
Digital citizenship: is the responsible and ethical use of technology tools and the internet, encompassing the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to participate safely and effectively in a digital world.
Family engagement is a core component of the MISD approach to our digital citizenship partnership.
It is our goal for students in McKinney ISD to be good digital citizens and digital leaders. We believe teaching students about digital citizenship is a partnership among staff, students and parents and the community.
