Special Populations Records

McKinney ISD will follow District policies, as well as the Federal Educational Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA), when considering records requests. Once a graduate is 18 years of age, parents are no longer able to request records without required documentation.

District Requests for Records

Parent / Adult Student Requests for Records

Proper identification is required for all parent / adult student records requests:

Current Drivers License, State Identification, or Passport
If the student is 18 or older, the parent must also provide documentation of legal guardianship
