In compliance with state law, McKinney ISD will provide access for the community to review a list of all library materials that are proposed for procurement by school libraries. The list will be posted for a minimum of 30 days, along with a community feedback form. The list and community feedback will be reviewed by the Local School Library Advisory Council, and taken in consideration as the SLAC makes a recommendation to the McKinney ISD Board regarding approval of proposed materials for procurement. This list will include all donated materials and proposed purchases.

Parents, students, and/or community members are welcome to provided feedback regarding the materials list by completing this feedback form.

Note: All ISBN formats (paperback, hardcover, ebook, audiobook, language translations, etc.) will be included in the recommendation for approval for each individual title included in the list.

Materials added to the procurement list have been selected by the McKinney ISD Library Media Specialists in accordance with state law and local Board policy.
