Purpose of District-Wide Events

An annual gathering of all MISD staff to begin the school year with a unified vision, recognition of accomplishments, and a focus on student success.

Held each summer, this event welcomes new employees to McKinney ISD and introduces them to district leadership, culture, and traditions.

This annual recognition highlights the outstanding contributions of educators across the district and honors their dedication to student learning and success

Celebrates the top-performing seniors in each high school, along with the teachers who have made a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Each MISD high school recognizes its top 10 graduating seniors at a special celebration on campus, honoring academic excellence and student achievement.

Commencement ceremonies for each MISD high school provide a culminating celebration of academic achievement as graduates prepare to pursue their future goals.

District-wide performances and exhibitions in music, theatre, and visual arts demonstrate the creativity and talent of MISD students at all grade levels.

Events such as the district spelling bee, science fair, and UIL competitions provide students with opportunities to extend learning, challenge themselves, and achieve at the highest levels.
