A team of district leaders representing various departments worked alongside campus staff representing all grade levels to develop guidelines for safe and responsible use of technology. The guidelines are broken down into four main categories: Safety and Well-Being, Acceptable Use, Balanced and Blended Instruction, and Artificial Intelligence.

The purpose of instructional technology is to enhance student learning by increasing engagement and targeting academic needs.

Priorities:

Student safety and well-being are always our top priorities, and our dedicated teachers and staff remain the primary, essential source of instruction.

Safety & Well-Being:

Student safety, well-being, and academic success are supported by digital citizenship learning, device monitoring tools, and responsible online behavior.

Acceptable Use:

Students and staff use district-approved technology tools safely, ethically, and responsibly for educational purposes.

Balanced & Blended Instruction:

By keeping screen time balanced and human-centered, we ensure technology is an intentional tool that builds communication, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Artificial Intelligence:

When used ethically and with teacher guidance, approved AI tools enhance learning while protecting student privacy and academic integrity.
