Jae Gaskill has dedicated over 32 years to public education, serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, associate principal, and principal. She currently serves as Senior Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) for McKinney ISD, where she oversees CTE programs, AVID, PALS, and student clubs and organizations across the district.
Gaskill began her career as a science teacher and coach in her hometown of Leonard, TX. She later moved to Allen ISD, where she taught and coached for four years before transitioning into school administration. In 2007, she joined McKinney ISD as Associate Principal of McKinney North High School and, in 2016, was named Principal. As principal, she focused on creating a welcoming campus culture, fostering a love of learning, and preparing students for success beyond high school.
In her current role, Gaskill partners with campus leaders, CTE educators, business partners, and state organizations to expand opportunities, support student success, and strengthen the McKinney community.
She earned a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s in Education from Texas A&M–Commerce. Her leadership has been recognized regionally, as she was named Region X Assistant Principal of the Year in 2010 and Region X Principal of the Year in 2019.
