Good Evening Fifth-Grade Parents,
This is an important and time-sensitive reminder: your child will take the Science STAAR test tomorrow. The success of this assessment requires your partnership to ensure they are fully prepared.
Tonight: Please ensure your child gets a full night of restful sleep.
Tomorrow morning: A healthy breakfast is key to helping them stay focused and alert during testing. Good options include protein-rich foods like eggs, yogurt, peanut butter on toast, or whole-grain cereal with fruit.
Reminder: Students can also get a nutritious breakfast in the cafeteria before the test begins.
Arrival: Please have your child at school no later than 7:50 a.m. so they have time to settle in and start the day calmly. Being on time is crucial for a smooth and stress-free testing experience.
Visitors: Our campus will be closed to all visitors tomorrow, including during lunch.

2025-26 New & Returning Student Registration for (K – 12) is open. Snap codes for students who were enrolled with MISD as of February 20, 2025, will start going out the week of March 3rd. We encourage you to complete your child’s registration as soon as possible.
