The MISD Childcare Programs proudly offers childcare for children of current MISD employees. Childcare is offered for children 6 weeks to 4 years of age.     

Children are assigned classes and campuses based on their age on September 1st.

Programs are tuition based and provided all school days and teacher/staff workdays.

McKinney ISD offers childcare for ages 6 weeks – 17 months at Evans Middle School. MISD Childcare is provided days MISD Teachers are scheduled to work. Daily operational hours are 6:30am – 5:30pm.

McKinney ISD offers employee preschool programs at McKinney High School, McKinney Boyd High School, and McKinney North High School for children 2 years – prekindergarten (children who are younger than 5 years on Sept. 1).*

* Preschool for children 18 – 23 months at their campus is provided at the McKinney High Preschool location.

MISD Childcare is provided days MISD Teachers are scheduled to work. Daily operational hours are 6:30am – 5:30pm.

All preschools are under the direction of MISD Preschool Supervisor and a highly trained staff. McKinney ISD childcare centers are licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services and are inspected regularly.

MISD employee preschools are available to MISD staff families.
