Hey, everyone! Let’s all wear RED on February 7th to show we care about heart health! We can’t wait to see all your awesome !

It has been a busy week in 2nd grade! Our students explored the 7 continents and 5 oceans through buddy reading, building their knowledge of the world while practicing their reading skills. In math, they tackled fractions beyond one whole, using problem-solving strategies to order and compare numbers. Our Thinking Classrooms were buzzing with collaboration as students worked together on a challenging fraction thinking task, proving that learning is even more powerful when we think and grow together!

Celebrating 100 Days of Learning in Kindergarten! 🎉 Our kindergarteners had an amazing time marking the 100th day of school with hands-on activities and lots of creativity. From dressing up as adorable 100-year-olds to making 100 Fruit Loop necklaces, creating gumball machines with 100 gumballs, stacking 100 cups into towering creations, and finding and counting 100 pennies, they explored numbers in exciting ways. They also collected 100 stickers or stamps, wrote 100 words while making fun hats, and discovered patterns while counting to 100 on a chart. These activities helped our little learners build number sense, explore patterns, and celebrate their growth. We are so proud of their hard work and excitement for learning!

First grade had a paw-some time celebrating the 101st Day of School! From counting to 101 to building with 101 items, and even writing and reading all about the number 101—our first graders made every moment count!

The boxes are filling up, and we are so grateful for all the generous donations so far! Thank you to everyone who’s already dropped off food to help spread the love in our community. Your kindness is making a difference!
But there’s still time to give! The food drive runs until February 7th, so keep those donations coming! Every can, every box, every little bit counts.

There’s nothing quite like seeing students dive into the world of books, each one on a mission to find the perfect read! Whether it’s a thrilling adventure, a mystery to solve, or a story to spark creativity, it’s amazing to watch them discover what excites them. Even better? Sharing what they’re reading and chatting about their favorite books with friends. The power of stories, discussion, and connection—what could be better? Thank you Mrs. Stewart!

Mrs. Larriviere was all in for the fun today during PE class! Our students loved seeing their principal jump right in, helping out with the parachute games, and showing that learning isn’t just about books and tests—it’s about building connections, making memories, and having fun together. Huge shout-out to our amazing PE teacher for making these moments possible and reminding us that school is about more than just lessons. It’s about growing, connecting, and enjoying every moment

Kindergarten Math Adventures!
This week in Kindergarten, our little mathematicians have been busy learning how to build teen numbers as groups of tens and ones. They're also developing their numeration skills by practicing comparing numbers up to 20 using words like "more than," "less than," and "equal to." With a variety of manipulatives, hands-on activities, and fun games, our students are having a blast while mastering these important math concepts!
