First Responders Day at Minshew!
We had such a special day celebrating the real heroes in our community!
The morning began with a breakfast where first responders and their students enjoyed time together before the big celebration.
Our hallways filled with cheers and smiles during the First Responders Parade - students and staff lined the halls to clap, wave, and show their appreciation.
The excitement continued with a visit from our local firemen, who gave students a close - up look at their firetruck and shared about the work they do every day.
It was a day full of gratitude, learning, and joy as we honored the brave men and women who keep us safe.

Our second grade mathematicians are diving into 100’s chart strategies - adding, subtracting, and spotting patterns along the way! They’re also learning how to tell if a number is even or odd using place value. Math minds at work!

Here at Minshew, we have exceptional students—and we know why! This morning, one of our amazing Minshew dads noticed a student’s bike chain was broken. Not only did he fix the chain, but he also aired up her tire! We are so thankful for the best Minshew parents who go above and beyond every day. It’s no wonder our students shine so brightly—they’re surrounded by such caring role models!

Our third-grade scientists are diving into the fascinating world of matter! They’re learning how matter is made up of building blocks and exploring these concepts through engaging, hands-on activities. From questions to discoveries, their excitement fills the classroom as they explore how science connects to the world around them.
