Congratulations, Mrs. Kolb Fagen
Mrs. Kolb Fagen was recognized at last night’s school board meeting as a recipient of the Superintendent’s Award. We are so proud to celebrate her dedication, leadership, and positive impact on our school community. Congratulations on this well deserved honor.

Our 2nd graders put their fraction skills to work by designing quilt patterns using halves, fourths, and eighths. Collaboration and creativity were on full display!

Our school will be hosting Career Day on February 6th.

Students will hear from parent and community guest speakers, and classes will rotate through career-themed stations across campus. Volunteer speakers are welcome, and we invite parents and community members from all professions to share their careers in short 15–20 minute sessions.

Mystery Readers
Thank you to the amazing mystery readers who took time to come share stories with our students. Your visits brought excitement, joy, and a love of reading. We are so grateful for your support and inspiring our students to read!

Each year, kindergarten looks forward to the tradition of graphing, mapping, and building gingerbread houses. Students practiced important math and spatial skills as they planned their designs and worked together to bring them to life. The room was filled with creativity, laughter, big smiles, and plenty of sticky fingers as learning and fun came together.

Third grade scientists were hard at work exploring mechanical energy by coding Dash robots. Students learned how energy creates motion as electrical energy powered the robots and transformed into mechanical energy. Through hands on exploration, students observed how movement, speed, and force work together. Science came alive through active learning.

Celebrating Our Spelling Bee Winners
What an exciting competition filled with determination and school spirit. Our spellers worked hard preparing for this event, and it truly showed. Congratulations to our winners. First place Malachi Battles and second place Sean-Douglas Wright. A big round of applause to all participants for representing our school so well.
