The rain showed up today, but it didn’t stop the fun! Our Colts enjoyed the best indoor recess thanks to our amazing Minshew PTA and volunteers! From imaginative play and board games to makerspace fun, LEGOs, cornhole, air hockey, and more—thank you for making it magical!

Thank you for supporting our Fall Book Fair! We are sad to see it go, but we are so grateful for the joy it brought to our students. Your support helped us add even more books to our library. We didn’t reach our goal this time, but we came very close thanks to our amazing Minshew community. Thank you for supporting reading at Minshew Elementary!

Our kindergarteners had an amazing Community Helper Day! They dressed up as their favorite helpers, firefighters, police officers, and more, and learned all about the important jobs that keep our community safe, healthy, and happy.

Our first graders turned math time into discovery time! They explored all the different ways to make 10 while building their number sense and confidence. Way to go, mathematicians!

5th graders were up for the challenge! They worked together to solve fraction addition and subtraction problems with mixed numbers during a friendly game of Jeopardy. Vertical workspaces helped them show their work, share ideas, and problem-solve like pros!

Our Family Night at Spring Creek BBQ was a smash success! We earned $1,800 for our school, with our Top 3 classes being Moody, Raymond, and Biggers!
Even better? All money earned goes directly toward teacher grants, helping our amazing educators bring even more magic to the classroom.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our school and our teachers!

Student Council was hard at work sorting all the Boo Grams—and thanks to your support, they sold an amazing 475! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this a success. Your support helps our Student Council continue doing great things for our school!
Show your character! Today, our students and staff wore fun costumes to celebrate making healthy choices. It was such a fun day filled with laughter, creativity, and school spirit. Everyone’s enthusiasm made Red Ribbon Week extra special!
