You are the backbone of RJE and we are so grateful for everything you do to support us all and keep everything running smoothly day in and day out. Thank you for the positive energy and smiling faces you bring to the front office daily🙌🏻

“This is a hard job. And you have some days that you just feel like you failed somehow, right? Either in the social emotional aspect of teaching or the academic part.”

We launched our Jagger's Birthday Bookshelf giveaway today! Students and staff with birthdays Jan 1-16th received a book of their choice!
This special gift was made possible this year by the incredibly supportive and generous Preston Trail Community Church.
We have many excited students asking when their day will come. We promise to get to everyone this year and can't wait to see what the rest of our January birthday friends pick next Friday!

This morning, Reuben Johnson Elementary wrapped up their weeklong focus on kindness by stuffing party favor bags to support The Birthday Party Project, an organization that makes birthdays special for kids in need. All told, RJE filled 924 bags with fun items donated by the RJE community! RJE students learned about kindness by putting it to work!
"We are so proud of our students and families for embracing World Kindness Week and putting their hearts into a campus wide service project to support The Birthday Party Project," said RJE Principal Kristen Patterson. " We had no idea what to expect when we started assembling our donations this morning, and after counting we were blown away with the realization that we are giving 924 filled birthday party favor bags to children in need. Our RJE families truly are the best at giving and supporting others."

Jaguar Essential #3 - Notice when someone needs help and take action. When our campers struggled to hear our stories last month, Mr. Spaeth took action. RJE is now the proud owner of an easy to use indoor/outdoor sound system! Thank you, Spaeth Family and Pathway Communications!
