The wait is over! Frazier Gators finally got to participate in or campus-wide in-school LEGO event that was postponed due to the recent winter storm. Our Gators are having a blast getting creative and connecting their LEGO creations to their prior learning. We love seeing that Gator innovation in action! 🐊

This week, 2nd grade was learning about severe weather. It was the perfect opportunity to bring in a local pro, Roy Ponder from Ponder on Weather, to give our students an insider's look at meteorology. He went over what severe weather looks like in our area, safety tips, and how to best plan for severe weather. Thank you again, Roy Ponder, for taking the time to come talk to our Gators!

In appreciation of the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees, Frazier Elementary celebrated Mr. Ussery as a guest of honor during their monthly awards ceremony. A promise is a promise! Amy Holderman and Karime Terrazas have done it again. The Frazier Elementary principal and Webb Elementary principal challenged their campuses to raise a certain amount of money, and each school’s community surpassed the goal. So, Amy and Karime kept their promise and got strapped into a race car at Texas Motor Speedway!

“I know it must have been tough, leaving your friends & family, but because of your service we get to live in a free country.” 5th Grader, Belamy Smith, expressed her gratitude for the members of the United States Armed Forces along with her fellow Gators as Frazier Elementary celebrated Veterans Day.

See video: https://youtu.be/ovlMSiGoImg

The Frazier choir and the McKinney North High School orchestra filled the gymnasium with patriotic music, and the hallways were decorated with artistic tributes from the students, as well as a “roll call” mural commemorating all of the veterans associated with Frazier Elementary.

From Frazier Principal Amy Holderman: “On behalf of all of our Gators, we want to give you an appreciation for your dedication and for your service. We would not be here today in our awesome school community if it wasn’t for you.”
