Principal's Message

It is the last Friday of the 2024-25 school year! I cannot believe it, this year has flown by. We have lots of information to share before we close out the school year so be sure to read this last Mighty Roar very carefully.

Here are the highlights:

  1. Please double check your child’s lunch account here to be sure their cafeteria account is not negative before summer starts.

  2. Final report card grades will be posted on May 29th at 5:00 pm.

  3. 8th grade Celebration Activities are scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st. An email to our 8th grade parents will be sent separately. We have closed all payments for Main Event in order to give the venue a final headcount.

  4. Yearbook signing parties are Wednesday. Students that did not purchase a yearbook may bring paper/notebooks to have signed. No t-shirts or other clothing items will be allowed to be used. Remind your child that kind messages are longer lasting.

  5. School supply pre-order information is listed below.

  6. Our Spring Site Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee is open to all stakeholders. We will be meeting on Tuesday morning at 8:15 am in the library. We would love to have you join us.

This year has been filled with growth, learning, and countless moments of joy and resilience. Our students have made remarkable strides—not only academically, but also how we navigate these interesting middle school years. Their curiosity, creativity, and determination have inspired us every day.

We are proud of the accomplishments our school community has achieved together. From academic milestones and arts showcases to athletic achievements and community service projects, your children have shown us what’s possible when we work together to support their development.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for our dedicated teachers and staff, who have worked tirelessly to create a nurturing, challenging, and inclusive environment for every student. And to you—our parents and caregivers—thank you for being our steadfast partners. Your involvement, encouragement, and feedback have made a meaningful difference.

Have a wonderful summer!
