It's College Week!
Students and staff have been celebrating college week. Thanks to the careful planning of our new counselor, Mrs. Skidmore, every day has been filled with dress up themes and activities to help students dream big. The halls have been filled with college fight songs each morning to set the stage.
On Monday, students and staff wore neon colors because their futures are bright. Each class was given pennants to decorate and begin thinking about their futures.
On Tuesday, students and staff wore their favorite college gear and played a mythbusters game to see how much they knew about different colleges.
On Wednesday, students and staff dressed up like what they want to be when they grow up. We had lots of doctors, veterinarians, teachers, construction workers, and safety officers.
On Thursday, students and staff will wear camo or animal print. Kinder - 2nd grade will be invited to decorate College Dorm Pages while 3rd - 5th will be invited to complete a mock College Application.
Finally on Friday, students and staff will share their Bennett pride with Bennett Spirit Gear. We are so glad to be a part of their futures.
