On Monday, August 15, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) released its accountability ratings for Texas schools and districts based on the results of the 2021–2022 STAAR tests, marking a return to the A-F grading system that the state placed on pause for two years in response to the pandemic.
The Board of Trustees has updated the method by which people can sign up to speak during the public comment session of a regular board meeting. Any individual seeking to speak must complete and submit the online Speaker Participation Form no later than 9 a.m. the morning of the board meeting. The Speaker Participation Form will be active online beginning at 4 p.m. the Friday before the meeting and will be deactivated at 9 a.m. the morning of the meeting.
