In this message, McKinney ISD Superintendent Dr. Rick McDaniel addresses the extension of the MISD school closure through May 1, 2020.
Before spring break MISD recorded video interviews and classroom footage of each campus teacher of the year in our district. In the next few weeks we will honor and highlight each of these educators by posting individual vignettes each week day on Facebook, and at the end of April we will announce the McKinney ISD Elementary & Secondary Teacher of the Year winners. Today, it is our pleasure to introduce you to ALL of the campus honorees with our teacher’s edition of the “Never Have I Ever” questionnaire video.
During this time that our McKinney ISD community must remain at home and practice social distancing, we are calling on you to help us stay connected! Please share a short, 10-15 second video that shows how your kids are learning at home, that offers a word of encouragement to the MISD community or that extends a thank you to the teachers, first responders, medical personnel and essential businesses that are working to help us get through this challenging time. You can submit your video through the link below.
