As we approach the holiday season, our school community is coming together to support families who may need a little extra assistance during this time of giving. To brighten the season for everyone, we are organizing an Angel Tree gift Card Drive to benefit these families.

Wolford Elementary had 2 staff members submit McKinney Education Foundation grants this fall. They were written by Mrs. Aiello and Mrs. Perret. Both grants made it to the MEF Family Funded Grants stage where we ask the community for help in funding. We're reaching out to ask for your support in funding each of these grants written by our dedicated teachers. These grants will provide valuable resources and enhance learning opportunities for our students. Any contribution from our parents and community would make a big difference. Science Night @ The Book Fair was a success! Students had such a great time building with LEGOS and powering them to go! They also created their own LEGO creations and got photos in front of our LEGO Photo Booth! Thank you to PTA for sponsoring this event and to Bricks4Kidz for providing some really cool activities! Thank you also to the parents and students who attended and made purchases at the book fair!
Tuesday evening, September 24th we invite you to come shop at our Scholastic Book Fair from 4:30-6:30. We are also hosting a fun Science Night. Welcome to the Coping Skills Cafe! Mrs. Baker's September guidance lessons have begun and the girls and boys have enjoyed "tasting" different coping skills: Art, building, breathing, and sculpting.
