Press Counselor Mrs. Washa

Press Counselor

Ms. Washa

Hello Press Pride!

I am so excited to be a part of the PRESS family. I care deeply about the students, teachers, and families at Press. This is the start of my 34th year in education. I received my  Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from SWOSU, Oklahoma and a Master’s degree in counseling from TWU in Denton. I was an elementary teacher for 19 years then earned my Master’s degree in counseling and became an elementary school counselor. I have been trained in play therapy, sand tray therapy, group therapy, and practical parenting. I love helping students and families enjoy the school environment! My favorite thing at Press is the children’s happy hearts!
